Prima Logistic Green Label

The first Logistic Green Label is a reality!

Today Logivery announces the issuance of its first Logistic Green Label, applying the Logistic Green Label Lite protocol defined in the white paper approved by the DAO Logistic Green Label. This represents a key milestone, demonstrating how an emissions compensation model can be transparent, verifiable, and governed in a decentralized way.

The label was issued for a shipment generated from an order placed on Goldixa.com, with compensation funded by the sender Oro e Argento s.r.l. Delivery was handled by GLS Nazionale, traveling from Bazzano (AQ) to Brescia (BS).

The shipment — an envelope containing a silver ring — was assessed using the Logistic Green Label Lite protocol, the official methodology approved by the DAO. The calculation is intentionally conservative: estimated emissions amount to 0.745 kg of CO₂e, while the actual compensation covers 1.000 kg of CO₂e.

Why do we overestimate?
The applied method ensures that compensation never falls below the actual impact, eliminating any risk of underestimation.

Compensation was achieved through the Olivami project, managed by the provider Carborea, an initiative that converts carbon credits into tangible environmental actions focused on the planting and conservation of olive groves. The cost for compensating 1 kg of CO₂e was €0.03.

The Logistic Green Label includes a unique QR code allowing anyone to verify authenticity, estimated emissions, and compensation applied. The label is an additional asset alongside the carrier’s shipping label, with future potential for deeper integration with logistics carriers.

The entire process — order acquisition from PrestaShop, shipment generation with GLS, and Green Label issuance — was fully automated via the Logivery CloudLogivery Cloud platform.

The Logistic Green Label is based on a decentralized governance model: the DAO validates methodologies and requirements, ensuring neutrality and interoperability, with the goal of establishing an open standard for the entire logistics sector.

This first release marks the beginning of a broader expansion phase, which will include:

  • expansion of DAO governance
  • large-scale pilot testing
  • development of the Social Green Network to connect companies, compensation projects, and citizens
