Logivery and Carborea join forces to offset emissions

Logivery Green takes a decisive step towards sustainability by entering into a new partnership with Carborea, through which the Olivami ETS project becomes the first officially adopted offsetting program. 

This collaboration will allow companies using Logivery’s services to offset their CO₂ emissions through the purchase of certified carbon credits and to obtain the Logistic Green Label, the mark that certifies a concrete commitment to climate neutrality.

Olivami: reforesting Salento, regenerating a land

Olivami ETS is a non-profit association registered in the RUNTS, founded in 2022 to respond to the devastation caused by Xylella fastidiosa in Salento. Its goal is twofold: to restore the landscape and the local agricultural supply chain, while supporting the work of farmers.

Since its launch, Olivami has already donated over 50,000 resistant olive trees to small landowners and farmers, involving more than 17,000 people and 300 companies in a shared path of renewal.

For businesses, Olivami offers two concrete tools:

• the creation of a corporate olive grove, a lasting symbol of roots and sustainability;
• emission offsetting through carbon credits generated by new olive plantations in Salento.

Certified and traceable carbon credits

The credits generated by Olivami stand out for their high quality standards:

• Ex-post: issued only after CO₂ removal has actually been carried out and verified by Climate Standard;
• Standard validated by RINA and compliant with ISO 14064-2, with proprietary TCR methodology developed by Carborea;
• Blockchain traceability, to ensure transparency and prevent double counting;
• Territorial focus initially on Salento, with progressive extension to other Italian regions;
• Direct involvement of local farmers, the true protagonists of the agricultural and climate transition.

Each credit represents not only an effective CO₂ sequestration, but also financial support for farmers, who can cover initial costs and reinvest in the regeneration of the territory.

The Logistic Green Label: from calculation to action

With the integration of the Olivami project, Logivery Green strengthens its mission: to provide companies with concrete tools to measure, reduce and offset the impact of their shipments. Thanks to this partnership, companies will not only be able to calculate their emissions, but also offset them in a certified and transparent way, thereby obtaining the Logistic Green Label.
